Central heating power flushing Enfield

Power flushed heating systems are up to 15% more energy efficient

Why does my heating system need a power flush?

Heating systems full of sludge and corrosion will cause damage to the parts in your boiler. This will invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty and your boiler will not run efficiently resulting in higher gas usage. Your radiators will also have cold spots leading to decreased efficiency or be completely non-operational and not being able to heat your home. These issues will eventually lead to higher costs to repair your heating system and in some cases cause breakdowns.

The power flushing process is a highly effective method of cleaning your heating systems. With pumps and chemicals heating systems can be purged of sludge scale and corrosion deposits with minimal dismantling and disruption.

How does power flushing work?

A power flushing pump is connected into the heating system. The powerful flow combined with the instantaneous flow reverse device will dislodge mobilised deposits and corrosion which resist traditional heating cleaning methods.

Once the corrosion and sludge deposits have been loosened and mobilised, fresh clean water is forced through the heating system pushing the contaminated water out. During the process radiators are individually flushed without removing or disconnecting them from the system by directing the full output of the pump through each radiator separately.

At the end of the power flushing process the heating system contains fresh clean water. System flushing will not redeem design or mechanical faults, which should be rectified, but in many cases, it will cure the problems caused by these issues.
